Huge and outstanding room equipped with essentials you need for short stay. The beds are exceptionally comfortable and the staff is nice and courteous. Nice that the hotel is in the center of the city. All in all they offer fantastic service...

Beds were too soft.

My recent stay at Old Town B&B Ida-Maria was fantastic. The location in the heart of the old town was absolutely perfect. I could admire the beautiful river right from my room. The mixture of old buildings from the 1700s and the recently renovated interior created a charming and romantic atmosphere. The room itself was lovely, with comfortable beds and even mosquito screens on the windows. The shared facilities, including the shower and refrigerator, were clean and well-maintained. The breakfast provided a wide variety of options, including Karelian pies, croissants, sandwiches, and more. The smell of freshly toasted bread in the morning was a wonderful way to start the day. Despite a couple of minor inconveniences such as low ceiling beams in the room and confusing light switches, they did not diminish the overall enjoyable experience.

The location is perfect, nestled in a quiet neighborhood just north of the Cathedral. We stayed in a room on the second floor with windows overlooking the picturesque Porvoo river. The room itself was full of character, with old wooden beams and mosquito screens on the windows. The highlight, however, was the delicious breakfast with fresh picked blueberries and freshly baked croissants.

Nothing to fault, everything was simply perfect.

The breakfast served at the hotel was exceptional. There was an amazing variety of dishes to choose from, and it was all you can eat! the hotel was positioned right in the heart of the town, so everything was easily accessible by foot. I loved how the hotel had many activities that guests could enjoy, such as rowing boats and SUP boards.

One thing that was inconvenient was the noise from the street outside the hotel; it could be loud at times.

The basic amenities in the rooms, including a larger bed on the second floor with a nice view of the river, are perfect for a cozy and relaxing stay. Additionally, the breakfast served here is a real treat, with fresh baked croissants, fresh picked blueberries, and really fresh bread.

All aspects of the hotel were up to par.

We were impressed with the breakfast that had a wide selection of food, including cereals, toast, and cold cuts. the location of the accommodation was also fantastic, as it was close to many restaurants and cafes, making it easy to grab a bite to eat. we appreciated the complementary Wi-Fi and the helpful staff who gave us a map of the area.

We were disappointed with the shared facilities, as there was only one bathroom and shower for four rooms. This meant that we had to wait a long time to use the facilities.

This hotel is perfectly situated in the heart of the charming old town. From the hotel, you can easily walk to all the main attractions, and it's right on the town square. You'll enjoy stunning views of the river and appreciate the historic ambiance. the staff are exceptionally friendly and helpful, and the breakfast is delicious and plentiful.

I had a wonderful stay at this hotel in the very center of the old town. The location was perfect, with superb restaurants and great shops just a short walk away. The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful, making me feel right at home. The room had a nice view of the river, and the shared bathroom was clean and well-appointed. And the breakfast! We loved the amazing location of the hotel in the heart of the old town. It was super close to everything and not far from the bus station. The cleanliness of the room was impressive and we enjoyed the joint tea/coffee-making facilities. The breakfast served was tasty, especially the really fresh bread. Additionally, the staff was really nice and helpful.
